Long before the world  discovered  chemical  formulations to cure diseases, the  Indians  had  discovered  the  healing powers of  plants  and  herbs in nature. The Atharvana Veda, one of the four Vedas  deals  elaborately with the subject. Ayurveda, an indigenous school of  Medicine  again  derives all its  medical  formulations  from  plants  and herbs. India, according  to the Vedas, is also the land of  Charaka, the  Indian Hippocrates, and Susrutha, the  father  of  surgery.
India, is a land of several cultures and traditions  and the home  of Ayurveda. Bestowed with lush vegetation and climatic conditions varying from  hot deserts to snow-capped mountains. The  ancient  sages of  India discovered  the curative  properties of  plants which could  cure several incurable diseases.  Today, the world goes back to mother nature. And from  this land comes SDR, a processor of natural extracts.
SDR is the brain child of Mr.SAIN DAS , who was  greatly taken  up with  the  Indian systems of Medicine and was actually aware of the symbiotic relationship between Nature and Man. His awareness of the potency of herbal extracts and their propensity to ensure good health together with an altruistic urge to share this knowledge with the world to their benefit, resulted in the birth of SDR SHILAJIT in the year 1979.
